We were absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for a Free From Skincare award for our Starflower & Orange Blossom Cloth & Cleanser and on Friday I travelled down to London for the awards ceremony at Olympia. What a wonderful day!
As an allergy sufferer I loved the show and it was great to discover so many new free from food brands. There are lots of companies doing some great things in this area, the choices available to those of us with food allergies are just getting better and better. It was a shame the on site catering didn't match up, but there were plenty of free samples to keep me going! I'd really recommend you check out InSpiral if you are interested in all things eco, vegan or raw. Their kale chips are delicious and a great price. I loved Rebel Kitchen too gorgeous coconut milk drinks, the cacoa and orange was yummy and really refreshing.

The highlight was meeting up with so many wonderful industry people; bloggers, other manufacturers, the free from team. I had great fun with four brilliant natural beauty/allergy bloggers who let me hang with them. Check out sugarpuffish, Jen's Green Skincare, All Natural Aspirations and Good For Me Good For You, knowledgeable, informative and great reads.

Of course I was also interested in the Free From Skincare brands exhibiting and it was lovely to catch up with other friends in the industry. The Free From Skincare awards were great. Really well organised and natural lifestyle guru Janey Lee Grace presented all the prizes. No gold medal for us this time, but we're proud to have been part of such an important event. I was really pleased to see lots of micro producers getting recognition. The Free From Awards are one of only one or two who offer a level playing field for all skincare companies. They also play a really important role in raising the profile of genuine natural products and brands.
I'm back at Myroo HQ now and feeling really inspired, motivated and 100% sure I'll be back next year!
